We hadn’t decided on a vehicle for our wedding until we saw ‘Faith’ drive past us in Baildon. The VW was set up for a wedding showing bows and flowers and we instantly fell in love with the idea. We searched for VW Wedding hire and found ‘Faith’ at VW4WEDDINGS. I must say when we called and spoke to Jake about the booking, the conversation lasted about half an hour as we ended up talking about all things VW! We were very impressed with Jakes love and passion for VW’s and knew that he would make our day special.
Jake turned up 15 mins early dressed in a suit and ‘Faith’ looked stunning. I was really nervous, but some good banter on the way calmed my nerves and in I went! Jake stayed until after the ceremony and moved Faith around in different positions, opening the windows, shutting the windows, opening the roof, shutting the roof…. all on the photographers instructions. Jake was calm and was always joking about, but was very professional and helpful.
The guests loved ‘Faith’ a little too much as i’m sure more pictures were taken of ‘Faith’ than me.

We had an amazing day and say a massive thank you to VW4Weddings and Jake for making it so special.

We had spent a long time discussing what wedding vehicle to use as we needed 3 journeys and each one was at least 15 minutes. We spoke to a few companies and most said they wouldn’t do so many journeys, and one told us that if it rained they would have to cancel! We looked at Faith on the website and looked at the pricing also. The bus was a little over our budget so we dismissed Faith and looked elsewhere.
Then of all things we bumped into Jake driving Faith back from a wedding! We flashed and asked him to pull over so we could talk. What a funny and charming man he was and soon put our minds at rest that his camper is the best in the UK (good salesman more like!) We agreed to book Faith and paid the deposit there. Jake and his wife Kaela were so helpfull throughout the process leading up to our wedding they made it all so easy. Music, flowers, timings, all done by them.
When our wedding day arrived Jake was dressed smartly in a suit and had decorated the bus in the colours we wanted. The music was spot on and it relaxed me ready for my big moment. After, Jake stopped a good hour for pictures of us with Faith, then Family with Faith, then friends with Faith….. He moved the bus to where we wanted and wasn’t in a rush to get off.

We had an amazing day and Faith made it even more special as all of the guests loved it and the wedding pictures have come out amazing!

We are both now saving for a Camper Van!

It is now a month since our wedding and I think we have spoken to Jake more since the wedding than a lot of our friends! We actually saw ‘Faith’ at a friends wedding and just instantly fell in love with it. We had planned to get the traditional Rolls Royce but after seeing the VW we made our mind up there and then…. The pull back roof, the amazing light through the windows, the double doors and space!! (great for a big wedding dress!!!) The flowers, the wheels, the front windows….
So much to say!
When Faith arrived Jake had dressed her with coloured ribbons and bows and the flowers inside were decorated to match. The sun was out (woo haa!) so Jake arrived to pick up the groom and best men with all the windows open and the roof open. Craig was so happy it just made our day there and then! Off they drove to some music that we had chosen with 5 men looking like they were royalty!
Jake then came back for the bridesmaids and then finally me and my dad. As we drove ‘You are so beautiful’ by Joe Cocker came on and instantly I filled up. Apparantly Jake had been texting Craig a few weeks earlier asking for some ‘emotional’ music for myself and my dad. What an amazing touch that even made my father cry.

We arrived at the venue to ‘Marry you’ by Bruno Mars, and there was no turning back.

The ceremony finished and I was married!! Jake came towards us with some Champagne and said ” quick, jump in!” we got in and Jake whisked us away for ten minutes to enjoy the champagne and to just have a few minutes to reflect that we were married. Jake then returned us (slightly tipsy) to the venue where he stayed for an hour while we took pictures of the beautiful bus. He stayed for a drink and we got chatting about things (mostly VW’s!) and we have become good friends ever since. Craig texts him every day asking about campers and what to buy etc…. It looks like we are going to VW Festival at Harewood house to meet up and to talk campers! Jake even has a VW emblem tattoo!!
So we have formed a good relationship with Jake outside of the business but on the other hand we are now blowing our kitchen budget on a camper!
Jake and Kaela, thank you so so much for giving ‘Faith’ to us on our special day, but also making it easy, relaxed and stress free.
